Visiting Fellowships
ONGC Visiting Fellowships are open to applicants who are not members of the University of Oxford, and who are not ordinarily resident in Oxford and its immediate vicinity. Applicants for Fellowships should hold a doctorate at the time of application, or equivalent qualification in their field of research (e.g., holding a curatorial post in a museum or library). Applications will be considered for research visits of any duration from 1 month up to 12 months. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously (or recently) been in receipt of an ONGC visiting fellowship. In every case, the Selection Committee will consider applications according to the following criteria: quality of the proposed research and its fit with Oxford research resources; qualifications and experience of the applicant; and potential of the proposed research to contribute to the aims of the ONGC. Please note that we are able to host only a small number of Visiting Fellowships at the same time. In some cases the Selection Committee may offer a fellowship of shorter duration than the period applied for.
