Thomas Laskowski

I am an MPhil student in Islamic Studies and History in the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. I previously completed a BA in History at Oxford in 2022. My broad interests are in the intellectual and cultural history of the eastern Islamicate world in the medieval and early modern period, including links and contacts with Europe. I am also interested in the emerging scholarly fields of environmental and global history, and hope to pursue this further during my time at Oxford.
